Hey there! So, there are some changes coming to the blog, and most of them are just me trying my hardest to get the blog and myself into shape by staying on top of things so that the blog can be the best that it can be! I figured I’d start out the month with something easy, as I have been working tirelessly on creating new graphics to power up my Instagram page with, and working on a plan to post more consistently on there as well as here on the blog! I told you all via the Facebook page that I was going to be looking at my content calendar quarterly to evaluate what was working and what was not as far as posting new content for you all. This past month, I have been better at keeping with my content schedule missing only one post – a catchy my breath post – and being able to almost get posts up on time (I’ve been aiming for 11:00 AM CT)! Compared to the past that feels like a pretty big deal to me, so I’m celebrating that win as a blogger and as a personal goal that I made for myself! I haven’t been very consistent since I started my blog, but I want to change that!
In December and January, I was focused on the friendship series, Through Miles and Media, and although the dates changed for that as well, it was an incredibly fun series for Chan, Morgan, and myself. We were able to revisit how we became friends, our own perspectives on our friendship, and how we hang out with each other when we live so far away. It’s been great to hear everyone’s perspectives on all of those things, and it really made me appreciate the great friends that I have in these two lovely ladies that I known for years now! I was honored that they took the time to write their posts with me, and I can’t wait to revisit this series hopefully later possibly in the Fall! But for now, let’s just take a look back on the NINE posts that we’ve written so far!
The first set of posts were Question and Answer posts where we introduced ourselves, shared how we met, and little facts about where we live. It was really fun coming up with these questions, and I enjoyed reading their posts to see what we answered similarly or differently!
Q & A Posts:
The second set of posts were perspective posts where we each got to shed a light on our own perspectives of our friendships. I think this was the post that I enjoyed the most from our trio of posts, and I was glad to finally share with the world how I viewed that we became friends and how these friendships work in present day.
My Perspective Posts:
The third and final set of posts were about how we hang out since we only have the internet to connect on since we live so far away from each other, and we’re all adults with busy lives.
How We Hang Out Posts:
Well there you have it! All nine posts in a neat little package for your viewing at your leisure! Thank you all so much for reading our posts on this topic and I hope you’ll read ’em again or share them with your friends! Like I said before, it was a blast for each one of us to be able to do this together and just for fun! We’re very unique individuals but we’re also close friends even if we’re thousands of miles away from each other! Through miles and (social) media we’ve been connected for years now, and hopefully for years to come!
Until next time!
